Finland is a great country to live in. I really think so. We have a good education and generally a good standard of living. Of course, Finland has its own weaknesses and issues that need to be improved, but I'm happy to be a Finnish person and living in Finland.
I will not talk about policy because I don't know very much about that. I'd rather focus on the issues that are more important to me, like studying, working and living. I know that the policy is an important issue to pay attention to, but the truth is that I've never been very interested in that, even though I know that they ponder and decide about significant issues that affect our living. Luckily, there are people that follow the policy actively, as I follow it on a header level so far.
So, what else is great in Finland besides education and a good standard of living? I think we are lucky to have four seasons, although there have been strange seasons of the year and months that have been abnormally warm or months when the weather has changed surprisingly. I have to mention that we had the first snow of this winter a couple of days ago and it looked so nice and beautiful. It's so strange that when the snow is in the ground it is nearly a matter of course and now we miss the snow so badly. It's so dark and it feels like autumn. The good thing though is that there is not cold and I can easily bike from one place to another. : - )

The other thing that I love about Finland is that man can easily find a place that is peaceful and far away of all the noise. Man can easily find a good jogging path and enjoy his or her jogging and in some cases without facing a single person. I think that it is great as we have an opportunity to meet people at school, in a workplace, in a supermarket or anywhere in a public place.
And don't we have beautiful lakes here. Yes, the nature is one thing that is the strength of Finland. I can't wait the beautiful summer days and wetting my feet in the lake.
